Wolves drop two in Three Dog Night

EDMOND - Edmond North defended their Edlam Championship, defeating Edmond Memorial and Santa Fe in the second annual Three Dog Night on Thursday night at Memorial High School.

Santa Fe jumped out to a 9-0 start against North with a decsion from Brandon Roberts (215) and a fall from Tyler Shaw (285). The Wolves only other win was a major decision by Tre Doakes at 152. The Wolves lost two close matches, Brett Dunning (119) 6-3 and Cole Deardeuff (160) 4-2 in Overtime. The Huskies dominated the Wolves 53-13.

The Wolves had a tough go with Memorial as well, losing to the Bulldogs 48-17. The Wolves only had four wins against the Huskies; two falls from Greg Hendrickson (103) and Tyler Shaw (285), and two decisions from Brett Dunning (119) and Tre Doakes (152).

The Wolves return to action Friday and Saturday with the Varsity competing in the Jay Hancock Tournament at Yukon and the JV competing at the Piedmont Invitational Tournament.
